PG&E Corporation and Pacific Gas and Electric Company (“PG&E”) are Debtors in bankruptcy in federal court.
On May 28, 2020, the California Public Utility Commission (“CPUC”) voted to approve the Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization of the Debtors.
On May 12, 2020, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”) issued its approval of the Plan.
The bankruptcy court is holding a hearing (by videoconference) on whether to confirm the Plan. The hearing began on May 27, 2020.
