On May 1, 2020, President Trump signed an Executive Order called “Securing the United States Bulk Power System.” This Executive Order authorizes the U. S. Secretary of Energy, Dan Brouillette, to work with the Cabinet, as well as the energy industry, to secure America’s bulk-power system.
In addition, Secretary Brouillette will lead a Task Force to develop energy infrastructure procurement policies to ensure national security considerations are included in government policymaking.
